Duchess of Cambridge Pearl and Pendant Brooch

The Duchess of Cambridge pearl pendant brooch originates from the former Duchess of Cambridge, born Princess Augusta of Hesse, who married Prince Adolphus the son of George III. Their daughter Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, later Duchess of Teck was Queen Mary’s mother

Queen Mary ultimately inherited the brooch and upon her death in 1953 she left it to her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II.
